Job Description

As part of a strategic partnership with one of our clients, we are seeking an experienced SAP SDI SME Consultant. If you are looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and innovative environment, this position is for you!

Job Details:

  • Contract type: Long‑term Freelance (10-12 months)
  • Availability: Full-time position
  • Required experience: Minimum of 5 years
  • Location: 100% Remote (Working timezone: GMT+5)
  • Project context: Deliver a standalone Production (PP) system, then extend it to a High Availability (HA) setup in strict adherence to corporate standards. This position requires the end-to-end implementation of SDI (SAP HANA Smart Data Integration), including creating comprehensive documentation for the support teams.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Installation of the DP Agent (Data Provisioning Agent).
  • Technical and local configuration for a Secure Data-in-Motion setup.
  • Technical ORT testing (Operational Readiness Testing).
  • Go-live support.
  • Later phase:
  • Application maintenance, patching, and Security Vulnerability management.
  • Ongoing Sustain Support (operations and maintenance).
  • Decommissioning of DP Agents when required.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end implementation and replication with SAP HANA Smart Data Integration (SDI).
  • Strong hands-on experience in installing, configuring, and decommissioning Data Provisioning Agents (DP Agents).
  • Solid understanding of setting up standalone Production systems and expanding them into High Availability (HA) architectures.
  • Expertise in setting up and securing data flows, specifically Secure Data-in-Motion configurations.
  • Ability to write clear, comprehensive, and high-quality technical documentation for support teams.
